Our August Summer Program is packed with lots of exciting gymnastics fun for everyone! We have so much on offer at Wicklow’s leading gymnastics facility, our July workshops and sessions were a sell out so don’t delay in booking! Due to current Covid restrictions imposed, numbers are strictly limited for each session or workshop varying between 4 – 10 max, working as a “pod of one” concept. Please ensure to read our Covid specific information here.
Prices for each session or workshop can be seen by clicking through to the payment system via the “Enrol Here” button. You can opt to pay in full or in 2 instalments, please note if booking more than 1 camp you will need to pay for on item in full and the other in instalments, so ensure to select the correct method on booking! Receive a discount when more than 1 is booked per child or for siblings also booked to attend, in the one transaction.

Gymnastics Try It Out Sessions
These sessions are perfect for children to try gymnastics out for the first time or for children already doing gymnastics to keep up with the weekly gymnastics routine! For Mini Gym sessions, children will enjoy an introduction to the wonderful world of gymnastics and all it has to offer! They will learn to take turns, take direction and have lots of fun through the learning the basics of gymnastics! All children will enjoy learning fun and progressive gymnastics in Wicklow’s leading gymnastics facility. Please note that parents do not stay during these sessions.

4th August (Wednesday) Mini Gym 2.00 – 2.45pm aged 3.5 – 5 years (children must be fully toilet trained)
6th August (Friday) Mini Gym 3.20 – 4.05pm aged 3.5 – 5 years (children must be fully toilet trained)
9th August (Monday) 1.50 – 2.50pm aged 6-9 years (children must be fully toilet trained)
9th August (Monday) Mini Gym 4.15 – 5.00pm aged 3.5 – 5 years (children must be fully toilet trained)

Gymnastics Workshops
Handstand Workshop
3rd August (Tuesday) 5.30 – 6.30pm suitable for age 5+
What’s it about? Focusing on the all important handstand! Gymnasts will break the skill down and work to hold a free standing handstand!
Back & Front Walkover Workshop
6th August (Friday) 1.40 – 3.10pm suitable for girls with gymnastics with experience age 7+ or dancers
Round Off Workshop
9th August (Monday) 5.10 – 6.30pm suitable for age 7+
What’s it about? The workshop will focus on the primarily on the Round Off which is an important and powerful moved needed to be mastered correctly in order to build up speed to do multiple back handsprings. We’ll work towards piecing the perfect Round Off and Back Handspring together getting closer to fully achieving the skills. A follow on from this workshop would be booking into the Back and Front Handspring Workshop.
Blissful Bars Workshop
9th August (Monday) 3.00 – 4.00pm suitable for age 6+
Gymnasts will work towards improving their upper body and core strength to make bars easier and more fun in our blissful bar skills workshop
Balance, Agility & Co-ordination
10th August (Tuesday) 5.30 – 6.30pm suitable for age 5- 8 yrs
What’s it about? NEW to this summers line up is this super workshop. Focusing on improving and developing childrens gross motor skills, balance, direction and spatial awareness. Working on movement, co-ordination and jumping in a safe environment.
Splits & Bridge Flexibility Workshop
10th August (Tuesday) 6.40 – 7.30pm for age 7+ suitable also for dancers
What’s it about? Every girl wants to be able to do the splits and being able to do so can really help in achieving some really cool gymnastics skills such as beautiful, jumps and leaps and Aerials. Combined with working on the Bridge in this workshop it will really help to get closer to achieving Walkovers and Kickovers. We’ll work stretches and active exercises to help improve flexibility which is great overall for the body, children participating in other sports also need good flexibility to prevent injury and to perform better!
Front & Back Handsprings
13th August (Friday) 1.40 – 3.10pm suitable for age 7+
What’s it about? This workshop will focus on the essential preparation skills, strengthening and shaping in order to perform both Front and Back Handsprings. Similar to the Round Off the Front Handspring can become a tool to build up power before performing other cool skills like somersaults!
