It’s now time to register for places for Term 2 starting for new members in January 2020. Please note that due to extremely high member retention rates for Term 2 we do not have many places available for new members at this time. The only places we have available are those showing on our website.
Please note these are the places available as of 8th December, for a real time version you will need to view places on the payment system via the “BOOK HERE” button or by clicking the “Enrol HERE” button below. If viewing this page on a phone you may need to turn the phone sideways to view the full table. You will need to look at the payment section to see full details including cost.

PLACES FOR GYMNASTS WITH PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
*These places cannot be booked without emailing us to receive a code. Gymnasts would need to have skills/experience level to match the gymnasts already in these groups as it would be unfair to them to add beginners and those with limited experience to an experienced class. Email info@sugarloafgymnastics.ie to discuss.

We have compiled the following information below to help you in your booking places with Sugarloaf Gymnastics, please take time to read the information carefully as it has been put together to help you in your booking.
When does Term 2 start for new members?
As of the the week of 6th January – click here to view full Term 2 dates.
Are these the only places available? Will you be adding more?
These are the only places currently available. We understand that the times and ability levels do not suit everyone, we hope that we will have something that suits you in the future.
Why do many of your places require experience?
Simply because we hold a very high member retention rate. Sugarloaf Gymnastics is a highly reputable, fully equipped gymnastics training centre and has been providing excellent coaching to children for years. We are affiliated to the National Governing Body Gymnastics Ireland, for these reasons amongst others we hold a very high member retention rate. These are the only places we have available in these groups, for example it would be unfair to put a beginner in with a group who has been doing gymnastics with us for 1 year. We strive to have our groups as progressive as possible and only taking experienced gymnasts into some groups is the best route.
Can I be put on a waiting list?
All of our places are offered on a first come, first book basis so for this reason we do not hold a waiting list. Please feel free to send us an email with any alternate queries but if an age group/beginners group is not listed, we do not have places available at the moment. If you would like to discuss the experience level required that is no problem but it is best to email us so that we can look at the experience clearly and get back to you.
Why do you not have many boys places?
This is because we specialise in Women’s Artistic Gymnastics and only coach boys at recreational level, we do not have all of the Men’s gymnastics equipment. We do have other boys groups but these are currently full and cannot take beginners in with these gymnasts because their skill level is too advanced. We will happily recommend the closest and best clubs nearby who coach specific boys programs.
At what age can children start classes?
Girls at age 3 and boys at age 4. All children must be fully toilet trained, no nappies allowed and must be able to toilet and dress themselves fully without any help needed. Please note that parents do not stay during class time. We do have a Parent & Child class for those under this age – Click here to read about it.
I’m confused, how do I know if it’s for boys/girls or if experience is required?
The system will have this outlined stating if for girl or boys and the amount of experience needed to join a particular class.
What counts as experience?
Gymnastics classes taught at a recognised gymnastics club on all apparatus (bars, beam, floor & vault) or having previously attended camps/classes with us. Classes for experienced children cannot be booked without a booking code as a particular experience level and skills are required to join these groups, please email info@sugarloafgymnastics.ie to discuss.
Payment Information
The cost is outlined on the payments section of our website – you will also see that an annual Compulsory Gymnastics Ireland Insurance and Membership fee is included in the price, this is valid from September 1st ’19 – August 31st ’20. SG is affiliated to the professional NGB Gymnastics Ireland, our coaches are Garda Vetted and received professional qualifications through them or other recognised NGB’s. A split payment option is available on these places meaning, pay half now and half in a months time to make payment more manageable. If booking more than 1 place, 1 place must be paid in full and the second can be paid in instalments.
